Located in the midst of the city, a charming hideaway with inner courtyard where breakfast and diner can be enjoyed far from the summer crowd. The restaurant adds to the quality of the spot. A real find! And free parking outside the city walls, but quite close to the hotel. A real find!

The stay was perfect, nice hotel, perfect service, clean room and the breakfast was very good. The only thing missing was a chair in the bedroom.

Conveniently located in the heart of the walled town, just a few metres from the lively square full of bars and restaurants, the Saint-Louis has old-school charm and helpful, friendly staff. It's quiet at night, and there's a very pleasant, shady courtyard garden in which to relax or eat breakfast. Our room was a 'superieure' - not that large but very clean with a modern en suite (with great shower!) and plenty of hanging space. The bed was huge - king-size and comfy, with nice linen and lots of pillows. Air con system could have been more up-to-date and controllable but it did the job. Buffet breakfast is definitely worth the supplement - lots of choice including different cold meats and cheeses, cereals, fruit, freshly squeezed juice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would readily book again. We got a special direct booking rate; three nights with breakfast and taxe de sejour came in at 450 euros. One small down-side: the centre of this medieval town is pedestrianised (and all the better for it...) so you have to lug cases to and from your car, parked in one of the public car parks outside the walls. However the management reserves a number of car park passes for guests, so parking is free. A small point but worth bearing in mind if frail or with mobility issues.

The hotel is in a good position, but the overall experience was not as aspected, the room was not clean, small blue leds flashing like at a motel on the balcony where annoying the whole time, one plastic complimentary small bottle of water for 2 persons, towels were small and not soft, they charged me extra fee for the dog explaining that they need to clean up ( so they dont do if no dog has been in the room? ) In other hotels where I have been they charge for the dog too but at least you get a pillow, a small toy, a bone o whatever for them. The breakfast is served in a nice inner garden, but no assistance during the meal, choice is weak and quality is so so. Overall I felt that they really don’t care about the guest, what a pity.

Nicely tucked away, just off the main square, so calm but close to everything. Clean and airy room. Really friendly and helpful reception staff. The restaurant was fine, but I would go out to eat next time. Breakfast in the garden was a delight.
