폴리아 아파트먼트(Folia Apartments Chania)

I booked this location after arriving in Souda Bay and finding my previously booked location through my travel agent not worth staying. The owner was quick to respond and I was able to book to arrive that evening. The check in process was easy, they met me and walked me around the property before checking me in to make sure the room was satisfactory. The parking is on location and you are literally two blocks from the beach and everything you need, restaurants, shops and about 15 minutes to the Old town of Chania. Wonderful property great food and a very comfortable place to stay! They have it all!

We just returned from 9 wonderful days at the Folia. Giannis and Nikos with the support of their super team work tirelessly to ensure a really enjoyable holiday. Giannis was helpful before we arrived and during our stay, recommending restaurants in the older area and the seafront, even making a reservation for us on our wedding anniversary. The rooms were comfortable and always spotlessly clean A peaceful location but only a short walk to the beach areas

The reviews we read before booking Folia Apartments were spot on. This is a lovely small and quiet apartment/hotel complex on the outskirts of the village (just 5 minutes up the hill). We were met by one of the very kind and hospitable owners when we arrived who showed us to our room. It was at the back of the complex but we still had a partial sea view. Accommodation was clean and air conditioning too! We had opted for breakfast - would definitely recommend this - good spread of food and was lovely to sit outside in the morning sunshine. The swimming pool is nice (the only issue is that it isn't quite big enough and sunbeds were at a premium). Drinks from the bar were a reasonable price (you can't take you own water or drinks down to the pool area). All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a wonderful stay - highly recommended and would certainly stay here again.

This place is very nice and welcoming from the minute you arrive.... The Brothers ,, staff and even the cleaners could not have been more helpful. The room was perfect for our needs....lovely and clean...great shower and comfy bed. The pool area is perfect and the area is quiet...Just 10mins down the hill and your into the busy area of shops and and a great choice of eating places...try Tempo...food is amazing!.If you want a peaceful and less busy area try a 10 min walk down to Cosy restaurant....you will pass 4-5 other eating places to get to Cosy....we tried them all !! No bad meals anywhere ..Then back to Folia for a cold beer and a cocktail at the pool bar.....All in all a perfect Holiday....and a perfect place to stay....Martin and Maggie Jensen.....

The hotel is very beautiful and clean. I arrived at night and the staff left everything ready for me so it was very easy to check in. I also enjoyed the breakfast and peaceful pool area. The best part of the hotel was its owners and staff. They were very helpful with everything (planning daytrips, telling about public transport etc.). Everytime I met the stuff I coudn’t help but smile because they were very smile and kind. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have a relaxing holiday in a quiet area close to the shops and city. Thanks again for everything Giannis and other stuff

Another lovely 9 days at Folia -- 2nd year for us. The hotel is as immaculate as ever, lovely owners ('the brothers') and very pleasant staff. Great choice at breakfast. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well run --- the rooms are comfortable and are perfect to use as a base for exploring Crete. The hotel area is quiet (just up from the main road in Agia Marina) but very close to 5 or 6 very nice restaurants in what (I guess) is the old village of Agia Marina. Bus stop is very close (buses to Chania and beyond) and the Fun Little Train ticket office and stop is close. Beach is a stones throw away - our favourite was Sebastian's beach/bar/restaurant -- great entertainment on a Tuesday evening. We hope to be back at Folia next year......book direct for a better deal!!

This was my second stay at Folia Apartments, the first was 6 years ago before I met my wife, and I was eager to bring my wife here - I wouldn't have wanted to stay at any hotel/apartments other than this one. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming and it actually feels like you are staying in Greece rather than a chain resort hotel that could be anywhere. Cannot fault this place in the slightest, and we have already decided we will be staying at Folia Apartments next time we go to Crete. And the bar staff make the most amazing cocktails, especially the mojitos which were made with freshly picked home grown mint!

We really enjoyed our stay at Folia! Very good service and all the people on the staff were fantastic. The rooms were as described and cleaned nicely every day. The pool area was incredibly lovely to be around just like the rest of the hotel. Will definitely stay there again on out next trip to Crete.

So we were attracted by the reviews that initially piqued our interest: a calm adult oasis in Agia Marina that promised a wonderful and friendly experience. We were not disappointed. The staff, environment and service was exceptional and we have had the most wonderful holiday. I cannot recommend this hotel enough: if you want a proper break away from it all you will find it here. Pro tips: 1) sadly they do not have an evening restaurant on site, however all you need to do is walk up the road and you will find yourself in the old village which has a wide selection of traditional and even modern tavernas which are all exceptional. 2) if you get the chance take the day trip out to kissamos and do the boat trip out to the islands and lagoon. You will not be disappointed 3) take a bus to Xania: the old town is stunning and sunsets on the harbour are something else. That said 7 days of lazing on a comfy lounger with amazing service and pool (with great rooms and a view) will probably keep you occupied if that all sounds too exciting. The brothers will look after you.
