It’s one of the best hotels in Addis, it’s okay.

The hotel is beautiful, with perfectly manicured grounds, a large lobby, fountains, gardens, and a pool. However, the hotel is a special event factory. Business meetings and weddings are constant. The special events are given precedence and they close the pool and block access to the gym as necessary to facilitate banquets. After a long day of work, all I wanted to do was relax and go to sleep. However, I couldn’t work out or swim, or even sleep, because the noise from the music kept me up until 2:30am on a Sunday night. On the night I arrived from the airport, it took me an hour to access the hotel compound from the street because the parking lot had filled up with a wedding, and hotel security wouldn't admit any more cars - even for drop-off - until cars left. The on-site restaurants were good, but expensive. The breakfast was extensive, and the staff was very attentive to my needs and special requests

Had a great stay at the property . Some yummy cookies awaited me upon check in . The room service was quick and nice . Loved the breakfast options especially the live juice counters ! Got to meet Chef Mohan who invited me to the Indian restaurant ( which I couldn’t go ) . Loved the evening drinks service at the club lounge . Overall great stay

A central place to stay in Addis with some luxury and high-end services. The Sheraton was pretty fancy for Addis when built. There are others in its class now but it holds its own. This is partly because the location is excellent, partly because it has been well-maintained. There is a good choice of restaurants - not adventuresome but good quality. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The grounds are pleasant though not expansive. There is a gym with basic equipment. I was there for a board meeting which received decent support, but there was a lack of medium-sized rooms. We ended up too often with 15 people in a room for 500.

My family and I just spent 6 weeks at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis. We've been there several times but this was the longest stay yet. Besides the fact that the hotel is beautiful and the nicest in town... The team here is what makes the experience great. Nebiyu the reception manager assisted me with my needs for my reservation a month prior to my arrival as well as throughout our stay constantly checking on us and assisting with little things we needed. As a business owner I realize how difficult it is to create a great culture like the one the employees share at the Sheraton... This trip I had the opportunity to meet Antony, the general manager of the hotel and now I realize this culture starts at the top. Great guy who leads by example and sets the standard for his team. Lastly, besides the amazing team at Sheraton I'm going to miss the fresh squeezed cariety of juices they have every morning for breakfast! Thanks for a great trip guys!

My experience here was really unexpected. The concierge Jemaldin was helpful in making all the arrangements and even accommodating request to change money to pay to the tour company who credit card machine was not working. House keeping kept the rooms clean with loads of water and attentive to request to change flower etc., They do all the hardwork with a smile and I did not forget that. When I went for breakfast and said I had allergies the chef @ Summerfields immediately took action and ensured that I had special food for my breakfast. The group I appreciated the most were the chef and staff at Shaheen. They made me feel so at home even though I was dining alone every night. They serve the best food and are always smiling. They were professional and engaged with the customer ensuring that the food was upto expectations. I am very grateful to them and will always remember them as they went all out to ensure that I was not unattended. In all my travels I never had anyone do this to me. On my last night at the hotel once I have finished my meal and ask for the bill, they were so cute and ask me to sit down instead of walking to the front. Then they switched off the lights and there came out a cake saying “Bon Voyage”. I felt so touched and I would like the management of the hotel to acknowledge their extra efforts and beyond my expectations customer services. Well done people Keep up the good work.

I stayed at Sheraton Addis for almost a month, and the hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. I went to the Stanley’s Bar one day to try a drink and ended up being a regular at that bar because of the two amazingly talented bartenders named - Hager and Senait. Hager and Senait are masters of mixology and can make any drink you can think of with ease. Hager and Senait were always friendly and took good care of me and my friends. I highly recommend to visit them and the place they work at “Stanley’s Bar”. Kind Regards, Robel

The rooms were warm and made it uncomfortable to sleep. Very professional and pleasant staff at reception and restaurants. Lovely grounds around the hotel to walk around and relax. I had an excellent stay, enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone. I also look forward to going back and staying there again.
