The hospitality experienced during our stay at monarch park view hotel was second to none. It’s pretty evident that the staff takes pride in the work and serves they provide to their guests. I want to give a special shoutout to jossy from the breakfast buffet staff for constantly providing us with excellent service. Also, meseret tadilo was exceptional with providing great service during our consistent visits to the ground floor cafe for drinks. All in all from the staff at the door to housekeeping all tested us with great regards to our comfort.

My stay at monarch hotel was a great experience, the place is really cute, comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Tsion was attentive and made sure i was taken care of and happy.

Just got home from three days in Addis Ababa. I traveled with three friends and we all had separate rooms. My stay here had a few pros but a bunch of cons. The Pros: super friendly staff, incredible rooftop restaurant / bar, decent location The Cons: when we arrived their Wi-Fi was down and the check in process was not smooth. Although we all had confirmation emails, they were scrutinized over and over. Speaking of Wi-Fi, it wasn't great. Anytime you switched floors or went to the lobby / roof, you had to find a new network to sign in. All 3 of us had issues with the bathrooms. One room the water was coming out of the ceiling pipe and barely out of the shower head, one room flooded after each flush and my room the water was either scorching hot or ice cold. The location of the hotel is decent but there is a ton of construction going on so it's super loud 24:7. With that being said, my stay was eh, average. Nothing great. I don't think I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a wonderful time with the most wonderful staff! We spent a month doing work in Addis Ababa and this stay was made great thanks to the efforts of many, especially the great man himself Yoseph ❤️ Rooms were cleaned well everyday, breakfast was delicious and healthy every morning, location was great and central as every driver knew how to get here, and the amenities within Monarch were wonderful (rooftop bar and restaurant, lobby restaurant, new thai/italian/kenyan fusion restaurant). We had an issue with our room size and kitchen and Yoseph went above and beyond to get us switched and better accommodated in a timely fashion. He also provided us with great tips on things to do in the area as well as a warm welcoming smile during breakfast every morning 😊 Only real issues were: slow Wifi speed (seems to be a problem everywhere in the city), bathroom issues (maintenance came by and fixed it), and ridiculously expensive cost to do laundry compared to anywhere I’ve been. Regardless, it was a great time as we had over 10 people here! Definitely recommend as long as Yoseph continues to be the one leading the efforts!

This place was lovely stay with such impeccable help thanks to the f&b supervisor (Israel). He's super professional... The owners of this hotel knew what they were doing when they hired this gentleman!! Will be coming back an most definitely referring friends when they come to visit Addis Ababa.

The place was very comfortable and entertaining. The food was great. The servers were awesome. Specifically, Israel helped me have a wonderful experience. He was a great host. They take care of their usual customers. For example, reservation ahead of time.

I was having a lunch at the time in monarch hotel and a tallest guy named israel served me well and i have experienced a better service in monarch hotel because of this guy i really liked your hotel keep it up i wish you would be the best i ethiopia thank you.

Very good hotel with nice service. Located next to the plaza but need a taxi to the Bole. Great rooftop with a band occasionally, spent there our evenings and had breakfast. Special thanks to Israel the manager who treated us as VIP! Thanks a lot!
