호텔 마르티노(Hotel Martino)

This lovely hotel is located at Marina de Maratea 5 kms south of Maratea proper (and has a separate train station that many trains do. It stop at so check your train ticket!). The hotel does have a shuttle and they kindly picked us up from Maratea station. Rooms are very pleasant and in really good order. The restaurant onsite is excellent. Breakfasts were delightful as was the dinner we had there. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The hotel has a private beach, but there is a public one close by. Wifi in rooms can be weak at times but is strong up in the reception lounge. The hotel has a great indoor pool and bar area. All up if you opt to stay near the beach then this hotel at Marina de M is a fantastic option, we really enjoyed it.

My husband and I stayed at this place for 3 nights. We had our own private patio with a view I could not stop observing. Our walks within the area included waves crashing upon the rocks, a huge array of plant life, and so much more. The hotel was an incredible value and the staff was absolutely fabulous. We also ate in the restaurant which provided additional views and delicious food.

This was our second visit to this wonderful paradise, just a few minutes from Maratea and a short drive to Christ the Redeemer statue. The entire hotel is calm, clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and a great breakfast is served at the adjacent restaurant. We recommend getting a room with a balcony and so you can watch the gorgeous sunset over the Mediterranean in the evenings, and sometimes see dolphins splashing in the mornings The housekeeping staff is thorough and attentive, but really the staff is wonderful and welcoming, especially Michela.

I stayed at Hotel Martino several times with my family and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It’s a family owned business, and the nearby restaurant called La Locanda di Nettuno, is where you will have breakfast and lunch or dinner if you have a half board plan. The owners are 100% customer-focused, especially Antonio at reception and the restaurant, and Andrea, the chef. Rooms have a fair size, they were recently renovated and most of them look at the sea. At this hotel, you will experience one of the best sunsets of your whole life from your room, every day with different tones and colors. Lots of good quality options for breakfast (fresh fruits, bread, cakes, yogurt, cereals, coffee and tea), excellent seafood-based food with top notch local ingredients at the restaurant, always very clean and a beautiful and well-maintained garden and a private beach are some of Hotel Martino’s strengths. They also have an indoor pool that you can enjoy from 9 to 7pm.

HOTEL BELLO E CONFORTEVOLE MA TROPPO ISOLATO

Struttura situata su una scogliera vista mare. La nostra stanza si affacciava sul mare. La stanza abbastanza pulita. Peccato che c'erano due problemi il frigo bar poco funzionante o rotto bisogna sempre accertarsi prima che tutto funzioni. Altro problema la mancanza di zanzariera perciò chi non va d'accordo con l'aria condizionata di notte, come noi, non possiamo avere la finestra aperta. La colazione buona ma scomoda non essendoci un buffet per servirsi da solo. Comunque una bella vacanza e un grazie al personale della reception.

I punti forti di questo hotel sono la posizione panoramica, la tranquillità e la colazione super super!! L'hotel avrebbe bisogno di molti lavori di ristrutturazione( muro rotto in piscina, piastrelle staccate nel bagno ad esempio) e di ammodernamento perché l'arredamento è veramente datato.

Struttura accogliente. Ci andiamo da oltre 10 anni. Camere funzionali e pulite. Ristorante eccellente e di alta qualità. Reception professionale. Il sig. Antonio perfetto padrone di casa. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Per come siamo sempre stati accolti la suggeriamo per trascorrere bei momenti in coppia o in famiglia.
