민가리 캐슬 - 레스토랑과 함께하는 객실(Mingary Castle - Restaurant with Rooms)

Mingary Castle is a gem. Our room was amazing and included a dressing room. The staff and the service they provided was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The dining experience was absolutely incredible. We had the 8 course tasting menu and it was sublime. Breakfast was also great, the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough crumpet was amazing. Not to be missed if you like a quiet and relaxed atmosphere with amazing dining.

This place is nigh on perfect. Every last thing has been thought of and the food was stunningly good. the staff and owners were super attentive and hugely welcoming. it was worth every single penny. I could find nothing wrong at all here. i very much look forward to going back apart from the journey there. 7 hour drive for us. I'm sure a helipad would be worth it! And there could hardly be a better location, the ex Maclain family seat restored to it's 1300's glory and more. Famous Ardnamurchan point just up the road - the dread of every shipping forecast reader in the pronunciation stakes apart from gaels and Neil Nunes.

We enjoyed the most outstanding 5 course, and then 8 course dinners at Mingary Castle on the 24th & 27th March, whilst staying in a holiday house on the Ardnamurchan peninsular. The castle is unique, in history, location and presentation, offering luxurious accommodation and the best in fine dining in the most atmospheric and comfortable environment, you won't find anything comparable. The isolated location tends to add to the drama of the place. Service by the very friendly staff was faultless and added to the enjoyment of the evening. The prices are very reasonable too. The food should be Michelin star rated and as an hotel is ideally suited to be included in the 'Relais & Chateau' group. well done to you all, as the accolades come in, you're going to be very fully booked!!

To call Mingary Castle a “restaurant with rooms” is a gross understatement! From the sympathetic restoration with its 360 degree panoramic castellated walkway, to the authentic comfortable rooms and the amazing food and hospitality, it is uniquely without comparison in Scotland. Having experienced many 5 star and multi rosette establishments over the years - Mingary is up there with the best of them. This 12th century castle restoration is true to its origins and beautifully executed. With Jessica as Patron and Colin as Chef this establishment offers an idyllic retreat and a sublime dining experience. The service was flawless and very friendly without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble and the traditional luncheon, picnic hamper provided was excellent. The only criticism was a slightly erratic hot water supply and temperamental plumbing, but this is hardly worthy of mention given how enjoyable our stay was. I’m sure it won’t be long before Mingary Castle receives more accolades, stars and the coveted rosettes it already deserves.

Stayed with my mother for two nights on a DBB package during Storm Babet. The weather added to the experience, watching the storm from the cosy castle with a glass of wine was something I won't forget. The room was stunning - our bathroom was once a hidden chapel, very special indeed. Dinner was outstanding and the drinks are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying at Mingarry Castle, the service by Jess and her team was first class. I wish Jess & Colin lots of success and happiness - you have created a stunning place to stay with an escape from everyday life.

The most wonderful, memorable birthday celebration in this very special , unique place. Jessica and her amazingly efficient, professional, kind team ensure that guests feel thoroughly nurtured. The attention to detail throughout is admirable, such care in every area, from the initial booking, arrival, and through to departure. The superb dining experience is etched in our memory - absolutely the best ever. Congratulations to Jessica, Colin and team on all that has been achieved at Mingary.

We had had high expectations…….. and they were exceeded. The MacDonald suite and location of the hotel were all we had hoped for. Dinner on both nights were exceptional in every way. High end dining making the best of great local ingredients. Thoroughly recommend both for a fantastic dining experience and a relaxing get away break.

The couple brave enough to start a business in a remote but beautiful setting deserve every accolade. The friendly and personal service with fabulous food is a winning combination. We enjoyed the 5 course meal.

An amazing location, fabulous menu and beautiful rooms . No wonder the castle was nominated as one of the top 100 stays in the uk. Colin ( chef) and partner and co owner Jessica worked tirelessly to make our stay perfect .
