The location for us travelling by train was excellent. It was just several minutes walk. For the price it was a good hotel. We enjoyed the breakfasts. I liked that they had coffee and tea out 24/7, you could buy other drinks and that glasses were provided. The reception staff members were very helpful. The only downside was that we got put on the top floor where there was no elevator so we had to take our suitcases up some stairs.

Nice hotel, nice breakfast. Great location, very near to Hauptbahnhof. Highly recommended!

非常温馨的酒店，房間面積不大，但乾淨佈局合理，還有豐盛的早餐。工作人員態度親和，離火車站不遠，性價比很高的一家酒店。推薦。

房間非常乾淨整潔，雖然歐洲的酒店有點小，但是房間裏各項功能齊全，乾淨整潔，因為是深夜到、酒店工作人員晚上都下班了，酒店就提前通過郵件把怎麼取鑰匙、如何進房間詳細的交代清楚，讓我很順利的在晚上十一點半順利入住了。早餐也非常好，各種吃的東西很多、味道也好。酒店就在火車站附近，出行很方便，以後還會選擇入住的。

早餐還是不錯的 就是酒店隔音效果有點差 一晚上感覺被吵醒了好幾次 離火車站很近

This is an affordable nice hotel in the center of Aachen. The breakfast was nice. The bed was bad. It was too small and the mattress was very bad. I couldn’t get a good night sleep. It was also very noisy.

We had two nights at the Hotel Am Marschiertor and it was a fabulous location within easy walking access of the old city. We had a spacious room on floor 4 although it was bakingly hot, until we worked out the portable AC unit needed water! The wifi was good, there was a decent desk for work and the shower was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast had plenty of options and was a great start to the day The hotel was 10 mins walk to the cathedral, straight down the road so it was easy to navigate! Decor was a little dated but it was clean, well organised and a pleasant and good value stay.

On Bookingcom were promised a king and queen and got a double twin. Rooms are OK size but dated and needing tlc. Clean. We booked for being near the train station. Breakfast was okay. My pictures show the re state of things. Our room had a long hallway with old red carpet so when I saw plastic on the pillows I thought " oh no!". Turned out to be a tiny packet of cheap haribo lollies a bit insulting really. Dangerous steps at night in hallway to bath. TV on desk so bad angle to view. No air conditioning. Promised a heritage view but got dirty rooves instead Have a look at the pics.

We were very happy with our stay here. It was just 3 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof right beside the old city gate Marshiertor. We got a nice welcome at reception. The bathroom was modern and newly renovated with a good shower with sliding door. However the decor in the rooms is a bit dated. The breakfast buffet was great with hot dishes, pancakes, fresh fruit, choice of bread and cold meats, cheese, etc.

Ich habe mich tatsächlich sehr wohl in diesem Hotel gefühlt … ein geräumiges und gemütliches Zimmer mit angeschlossenem modernem Bad mit einem schönen Ausblick auf das Marschiertor … sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und ein gutes Frühstück rundeten den Aufenthalt ab - nicht zu vergessen : die gute Lage zwischen Bahnhof und Innenstadt und trotzdem eine sehr ruhige Atmosphäre im Hotel

Meine Tochter und ich waren bereits zum 2. Mal für jeweils 3 Übernachtungen im Hotel am Marschiertor und auch dieses Mal haben wir uns ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt. Ein sauberes Zimmer, freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen beim Empfang und auch beim Frühstück, das im übrigen keine Wünsche offenlässt. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch im Sommer 2025. Petra Jung

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem sehr alten Gebäude. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt, das kann sein Alter aber nicht verbergen. Unser Zimmer im 3. Stock war sehr schlicht, die Straße sehr laut zu hören. Das Bad war modernisiert, roch aber irgendwie unangenehm, so dass wir die Fenster offen gelassen haben. Richtig wohlgefühlt haben wir uns in dem Zimmer nicht (andere Zimmer, die wir uns angesehen haben, waren nicht besser). Den sehr kleinen, engen Fahrstuhl von 1971 haben wir nur für das Gepäck genutzt und sind lieber zu Fuß in den dritten Stock gestiegen. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es am Haus nicht, aber einen sehr urigen Fahrradkeller. Positiv: Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. ABER: Mit 120€ pro Nacht war das Zimmer grotesk überbezahlt, für den Preis hatten wir auf unserer Deutschland-Rundreise wesentlich bessere Unterkünfte.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé, à peine à deux cents mètres environ de la gare d'Aix-la-Chapelle. Il n'est pas loin du centre-ville (10 minutes à pied, la ville entière se visite facilement à pied). L'accueil était bien, l'ensemble du personnel rencontré était aimable et serviable. La chambre n'était pas trop mal (je n'y étais que pour dormir et en matinée), je passais la plupart du temps dehors. Le lit était confortable, un peu moins l'oreiller qui était assez plat (j'ai utilisé les deux oreillers pour avoir un bon confort). La salle de bain était correcte avec une baignoire et un double évier. On entendait parfois les voisins quand il n'y avait pas trop de bruits mais ce n'était pas dérangeant. J'ai trouvé cet hôtel idéal et confortable pour y être resté 4 jours et 3 nuits. Les commodités me convenaient. Le petit-déjeuner est celui que l'on peut attendre d'un hôtel ainsi, c'est-à-dire avec un mixte de petit-déjeuner traditionnel (pain, confiture, chocolat, fromage, charcuterie) et continental (avec œuf brouillé, lard, saucisse, ...). Ce qu'il manque peut-être, ce sont des viennoiserie (pain au chocolat, croissant, couque au beurre) pour le diversifier encore.
